Enjoy the panoramic tour of Langkawi from SkyCab. From the Base Station is conveniently located on foothill of the Machincang mountain. From here, visitors will be taken up to the cool Machincang mountain via the cablecar system. The ride will be an exhilarating experience for everyone to enjoy. You will also be able to catch a glimpse of the flora and fauna that surrounds the area.
The Cable Car system is the latest tourist attraction for Langkawi and is located at the Oriental Village, a theme shopping centre housed in 30’s individually designed buildings showcasing Malaysian and Oriental architecture. Langkawi Cable Car is located just north of Telaga Harbour, Pantai Kok, with the entrance within `ORIENTAL VILLAGE` - a theme shopping centre housing in 30 individually designed buildings showcasing Malaysian and Oriental architecture. It is located just north of the Langkawi International Airport, on the north-western coast of the main island of Langkawi. It is just an approximate 40 minutes drive from Kuah town and 15 minutes drive from Langkawi International Airport. ATTRACTIONS Base Station The Base Station is located at the Oriental Village (at the foot hill of the Machincang mountain range). From the base, visitors will be taken up to the Machincang range via the Langkawi Cable Car on gondolas giving the visitors views of the surroundings forests, the Telaga Tujuh (Seven Wells) waterfall as well as the sea. The cable cars are closed weekly for maintenance. Middle Station Cable Car Middle Station An intermediate Cable Car station on the eastern ridges provides access to the eastern cliffs with its 3 vertical chimneys and the 360-degree views. The journey from the Base Station to Middle Station will cover 1,700 meters in length and upon reaching the Middle Station at an elevation of 650m above sea level, visitors will be able to alight and walk up to the viewing platforms. Top Station Cable Car Top Station A short walk up the stairs from the Top Station will take visitors to the two viewing platforms at the top of Gunung Machinchang. A cafe at the Top Station offers refreshments and views with cool breezes, at 708m above sea-level is about 5 degrees Celsius (+/-) cooler than lowlands.

Mangrove & Cave Exploring

After pickup from your hotel, you will be taken to the Tanjung Rhu fishing village, which is home to Malaysia`s incredibly diverse wildlife. Discover this region`s natural beauty as you travel by boat through limestone caves and hidden canyons, where monkeys, kingfishers, monitor lizards and mud crabs congregate along the river banks. Get an even deeper appreciation for this fishing village. Then, enjoy the highlight of your tour: watching the three different species of protected eagles being fed, including the incredible bald eagle! Take out your camera or video camera as this scene is one not to be missed! After the last stop at a bat cave, cruise back to Tanjung Rhu along the coastal area of northern islands.
